Personal Best 5k/10k

Have you been running regularly for some time now and would like to get faster, but are not quite sure how to do so? Would you like more structure to your current running program and to set a new 5k or 10k personal best? If so, then this is the program for you.
Runners participating in the program will receive the following:

  • An initial consult to discuss your current fitness level, prior running history and goal setting.
  • A detailed training schedule based upon your ability levels and goals.
  • Twice weekly group coached workouts. Workouts may include interval, tempo, easy aerobic or hill training.
  • Clinics and educational materials on injury prevention, shoe selection, nutrition &hydration, heart rate training, interval & lactate threshold training and much more!

Upcoming Sessions:

Session II – April 19th – July 10th (12 week program $275 or $225 for TRS Run Club Members)

Session III – July 12th – October 30th (16 week program $345 or $295 for TRS Run Club Members)

Group workouts will be held on Monday evenings at 7:00 PM at Marsteller Middle School in Bristow and Saturday morning at 7:30 AM. Saturday morning locations will rotate between various courses in Gainesville, Bristow, the Manassas Battlefield, the W&OD Trail and Burke Lake.
